After completing her degree in Clinical Psychology she decided to pursue her passion to help others. Elika herself struggled with insomnia most of her school life.
As she began working, she was overwhelmed by the number of people impacted by insomnia and the toll it took on them both personally and professionally. As a result, Elika began her search for effective insomnia solutions.
Elika received her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapist for Insomnia (CBT i or CBT Insomnia). CBT-I (cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia) is the only scientifically proven non-drug insomnia treatment. CBT-I improves sleep in 70-80% of patients, is more effective than sleeping pills and reduces or eliminates sleeping pills in the vast majority of patients.

Elika’s motivation to help people cure their insomnia was sparked by her best friend Tina’s struggles. Elika saw first hand the struggles her friend experienced with sleep. Tina would often say “I’m failing to do something that even babies can do”. The more desperate she became to sleep, the worse her insomnia became.
“I was witnessing what was happening to Tina because of her lack of sleep. She didn’t feel like herself, all aspects of her life were being affected-her relationships, her work performance, her health and her emotional well-being.
All her investment in her education and career was going down the drain because she couldn’t sleep at night. She used to call me crying that she feels she is losing her mind. She hadn’t slept more than 2-3 hours the last few nights and couldn’t take sleeping pills because they would make her “groggy” and unable to function the next day.
I started searching for answers and became passionate about helping people with sleep. Using specifics tools, I was able to help Tina change her thoughts and actions around sleep. Today, Tina is no longer dependent on sleeping pills to help her fall asleep. She feels like herself again and feels rested.
